I was intrigued by the name of our featured modeler. Yagyu Jubei is well-known in Japanese lore; I saw him in Shura no Toki as a one-eyed master swordsman with a sword guard for an eyepatch. And when I saw the pictures of Jubei Yagyu's PG Zeta, I imagined cold steel on hot fire, bending to its master's will.
The blue and silver and gold of the inner frame reminds one of cold, hard steel. Complementing it are the red, yellow, blue, and white outer armor, subtly shaded to give depth and life.
Here are some of the WIP images. Notice how Jubei magically changes plastic into metallic awesomeness.

I know, I know. These are a lot of pictures. I just needed to show you how awesome Jubei's Zeta is. And trust me, there's loads more where these came from. I'd add them all if I could, but this would be one helluva long post.
As these pictures prove, Jubei Yagyu lives up to his name. The work of a master, indeed.
Destiny is one of my favorite kits especially in MG format, through the years my love for the kit has admittedly waned with the arrival of newer, modern mobile suit designs. When RG Destiny debut, I remained a lil ho-hum about it, skeptical that it couldnt lick RG Justice's proverbial jockstraps.
Boy, was I wrong. Wildone "The Nub Eater" Ibanez shows us the full, no paint-gunpla potential of the Sexy RG Destiny:
Very clean and sharp, great build Wildone!
Till next, Mismo!
Gino "Giu" Cayetano is one of the up and comers among PinoyGundam's homegrown talents, after the awesome blood-and-guts 60-day marathon on the PG Titans MkII, here comes the next work from our boy wonder-
-MC Hi Nu, bersikulo Cayetano

Really love how the vicious streak of the kit design was amplified by the paint job.
More works in the future Giu!
Till next, Mismo!

Just finished watching Spartacus a few weeks ago and the end scene (spoilers ahead) was a prelude to the Roman triumvirate between Marcus Crassus, Pompei Magnus and the great Julius Caesar.
Now PG has a triumvirate of that same mold.
Very honored to feature the works from three of the best modelers in the country today- Vanz "Anazasi" Hilario, Mark "Sexy Time" Bersola and
David "Davime" Ceremonia. It was pleasure capturing these masterpieces side by side.
Massive BFGs and Full Armor types which emphasize a beautiful clusterf**k have always been a fan favorite in the modeling scene. We fondly refer to them as MAMAWS in PG vernacular, a sight to behold.
Behold the three MAMAWS: Deepstriker, Berst and Perseus!
And here is a teaser for our upcoming yarian challenge later this year!
Kits like these reflect the unrivaled passion of modelers in honing their craft. The execution might be different and the approach altogether- but what remains constant is the unyielding spirit to conquer personal limitations to keep bettering one's best. These monsters are the perfect example to that.
Looking forward to the next generation of mamaws in the coming months. I sense the calm before the storm and have seen some WIPs of upcoming greats. Excited to see them all soon!
Till next, Mismo!
We've heard how metallics belong to a cult following, and matte colors arguably rule the roost in the modeling world. Then again it never hurts to try when the theme is appropriate for the task at hand.
Ace Perez saw this window with the Gadessa 144, and he delivered with aplomb!
Admittedly when I first had this kit I felt this was beyond saving. Glued to death, scratches galore, the horror.
Now Gadessa transcends goddess-status, worthy of her billing.
