I have been away from the modeling scene for almost 3 years until mid last 2012, and by then I was so out of touch that my panache for quality works have dulled through the years. I was happily content with OOTB works, flatcoat here and there, silvered foil stickers did not even bother me.
Not until I saw this monster.
Enter Neograde's 1/100 Resin Kshatriya, modeled by one of our prominent local artists Doy "Doyzilla" Alvarez.

Admittedly this inspired a paradigm shift on my personal perspective as a collector- it led me to focus on premium quality works from then onwards. This was one of the best-made renditions of the Neograde model in the modeling scene- and despite it being around a year old already, Doyzilla's 1/100 Resin Kshatriya remains a timeless classic.

Version Acoy has been one of my favorites since returning to the Hobby middle of last year. The Zaku Rudy is one of them, and it is only fitting that this masterpiece gets its well deserved moment at our blog.
Behold! Zaku Rudy!
Hope to see more champions roll out from Acoy's workshop.

It was Late in the morning last year and we were scurrying to set up the displays for the October Kitakits of PinoyGundam, when suddenly- a wild Zaku appears! We first marveled seeing its photos in the page but lo and behold- we never expected to see it LIVE!
Enter Vanjo's Zaku II Custom work!
This was one of the great pioneering kits that typified the PinoyGundam passion. Vanjo's Zaku had become synonymous to the First Kitakits as we always remembered this masterpiece whenever we look back to PG's return meetup 7 months ago.
